Panko Encrusted Chickpea Patty

1 cup Chickpea flour
1 teaspoon Garlic Salt
3/4 teaspoon Onion Powder
1/2 teaspoon Ground Cumin
1/2 teaspoon Ground Coriander
1/8 teaspoon Fresh Ground Black Pepper
1/8 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper

1/2 cup Hot Water or Veggie Broth

2 Cups Panko Bread Crumbs

1/4 cup Canola oil to fry

In a bowl add in all the dry ingredients and mix together well. Then stir in the water or veggie broth. Stir everything together until there is no lumps and no dry mixture. Now to make 1 inch round balls, flatten it down to a patty, and coat each side very with panko crumbs. Continue this step with the rest of the chickpea patties.

Heat up a skillet with the oil on medium, add in the chickpea patties. Cook each side until golden brown, should take about 2 minutes, and flip and cook the other side. And you are done : ]

Serve the chickpea patty over a salad, or in as a burger. Super healthy protein substitute.
