Vegan Teriyaki Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 cup water
1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
3 tablespoons brown sugar or agave
1 clove garlic (minced)
**for slurry**
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup water

Directions
Combine 1 cup water, tamari, brown sugar, garlic and ginger in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Dissolve cornstarch in water, and add to the sauce, stir until sauce thickens.
