Korean Pickled Broccoli


Pickling Brine 
5 cups water
1/2 cup vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup salt

2 Broccoli Florets (no steam)

First make the pickling brine, combine all ingredient in a pot and bring to a boil. While the brine is boiling, cut the broccoli florets into bit size pieces. When the pickling brine comes to a boil turn off the heat and add broccoli into the liquid to blanch for about 1 minute. Take out the broccoli and shock it in cold water & drain. Wait until the pickling brine is completely cooled, to add into a air tight container with broccoli to pickle. 

Store in the refrigerator.
