Vegan Scallop Recipe

Ingredient
3 king trumpet mushrooms (approx 1 in diameter)
3 cups water
3 Tbsp Vegetarian Oyster Mushroom Sauce ( I used Wanjashan Brand)
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
1 garlic clove (minced)

Direction
we are just using the steams of the mushroom for this recipe.  cut off the tops of the king trumpet mushroom, save it for another dish.

slice the steam into 1/2 inch rounds.

in a pot add water, vegetarian oyster mushroom sauce, onion powder, salt and minced garlic. bring to a boil and add the mushroom rounds, simmer the mushroom in pot for about 5 minutes.

strain the mushrooms.

preheat a pan on medium heat, add oil to coat the pan, add the mushroom rounds, sear the top and bottom until gold brown.

serve with a salad.
